Based in London, but working for clients across the UK, we produce contemporary hardwood furniture, both free-standing and fitted, that is stylish, unique and beautifully hand-crafted. Steering clear from fashion-led, 'disposable', un-ecological furniture, our pieces will endure for generations, in terms of both design and construction. In line with our ideology and commitment to conservation and our determination to 'give back' to our environment, we work exclusively with timber from sustainable forests, locally sourced whenever possible, and arrange for the planting of a young hardwood tree on behalf of each of our clients for every piece of furniture we make.
Commissioning a piece of bespoke furniture for your home or workplace may sound grandiose, or even a little scary, but this is really quite a misconception. What you can achieve through collaboration with us at New Leaf, whether it's a small side table, a fitted workstation or a whole room scheme, need only be limited by the actual physical characteristics of wood! Of course, commissioning a piece of furniture may be more expensive than buying off the shelf but, set alongside antiques, pieces of sculpture and even contemporary paintings, it compares favourably, particularly when you consider that you will acquire a unique, beautifully hand-crafted, tailor-made piece that will accommodate all your specifications and will live on for generations.
