Current F-Gas legislation requires equipment with F-Gas refrigerant to be checked for leaks on a regular basis and this can be included as part of our maintenance visit. Mandatory leak testing depends on the quantity of refrigerant in the system measured in CO2e this is explained in more detail in the F-Gas Regulation section. Opening doors can help but it often takes hours before the Conservatory is habitable. Due to the extremely high solar gains it is extremely important to specify a suitable system and the use of solar reflective film or blinds should be considered. Due to the large glass area, heating can also be a problem in the winter and the use of electric heating can cause high electricity bills.
