We also offer a beautiful range of gifts for the home and garden. We now have an amazing eatery, The Bay Cafe, offering all day breakfasts, soups, homemade cakes, paninis and sandwiches and a range of hot and cold drinks.
We are a traditional garden centre and working nursery that has been trading for more than 40 years. We originally started life as a pick-your-own soft fruit business before progressing onto bedding plants and perennials. With this heritage we are passionate about plants, producing many of the plants on offer in the garden centre. Being independently owned is reflected in our individual approach and attention to detail. The personal touch is very important to us and we always aim to provide a friendly, reliable and knowledgeable service.
Our rattan furniture range features sets from top quality brands such as Hartman and Katie Blake. Each piece is comfortable and stylish, perfect for dining, entertaining and relaxing. The range includes dining sets, companion sets, corner suites, sofa sets and more. We also have a selection of stylish metal furniture, adding an air of romance and tradition to your garden. Unfortunately we have totally sold out of rattan furniture for this year. We have already placed orders for next year's stocks and the photos below show a taste of what we will be receiving in the new year.
At Botany Bay we are 'Passionate about Plants' and specialise in top quality home grown produce, especially promoting 'English Grown' plants. Having our glasshouses footsteps away from the Garden Centre means our plants really are nursery fresh! Some of our stock that is not grown on site is sourced locally and we also purchase from quality suppliers in Europe to compliment our range.

The staff were lovely and polite. Cake and coffee in the cafe were to die for! The prices were very reasonable with a wide range of plants and garden accessories. I shall be back.

Great day at Santas Grotto with the grandkids today. The staff were wonderful and couldnt do enough for them (including doing crafts with them whilst they waited to see Santa). Cant recommend it enough.

Sarcococca, or Sweet Box, is one of those plants you might never think of, but don't underestimate it! It is a super easy to grow evergreen with dark leaves, pretty white flowers and the most amazing fragrance! It is frost-proof and more than happy growing in shady spots.
