I visited here around 30 years ago and continued regularly over the years till leaving the area. It was the best garden centre I'd ever visited, the owners very friendly and the plants healthy and reasonably priced. On returning there after approximately 15 years, I found it greatly changed, but still somewhere I'll definitely return to. A great choice of plants, a cafe that serves amazing food, an indoor section with a great variety and a bonus when I discovered I could take my dog, indoor and out! The only very slight thing against it, is the under friendliness of the staff. They are knowledgeable, helpful and polite, but I didn't get a casual smile or a bright 'good morning' as I used to all those years ago! I suppose you can't have everything and it'll still be my 1st port of call.
Moores garden centre is the only place I go to buy my plants as they are top quality, well looked after and there prices are great too. They also have a great gift shop and I always have a coffee and cake before I leave from there fab cafe 5 * love that it's family run
