One of Northern Ireland's Largest Garden Centres, Hillmount offers a perfect haven nestled in amongst the scenic Castlereagh Hills. Hillmount Garden Centre can trace it's roots back to the dark days of the Second World War when, in 1940, Hill Mercer and his wife Lily established a market gardening business growing much needed vegetables for the local markets in Belfast.
At Hillmount we share your passion for the garden. We have a covered, outdoor plant area and a greenhouse full of seasonal plants. In our gardening department you'll find bulbs, seeds and everything else you need to look after your garden and flourish with the spring sunshine.
Went on this course with my father, it's a really great half day out. Learnt a lot about BBQ cooking, picked up some great tips for when I am using the bbq at home, and got some really nice recipes to try out well. The session started with an informative talk on lighting and using the grill, then moved on to cook a 3 course meal. Very nice selection and the menu would really impress any guests attending a BBQ you are hosting - no burger and sausage fare here (although you do get some guidance on how to cook them). Wine and soft drinks available for you to enjoy whilst eating your cooked courses. Thoroughly recommend, I'd probably return for another course in the future as it's both informative and fun experience. Very friendly staff that made the day all the more enjoyable.
Great day there with both fellow BBQ enthusiasts and people who want to do more than just burgers and sausages.

My first time using my Webber 4hr smoke at 120, a lot to learn and try but oh my god. It's bloody lovely plenty of wifey bonus points too
Chilli sausages stuffed with smoked cheese wrapped with bacon(need to work on the wrapping bit), chicken wings, onion wrapped rings.
