Hard landscaping should be your first consideration in your first design element, when planning your garden. The hard landscaping not only gives you something to build on in your garden, but it will also solve the bulk of many basic purposes. The soft landscaping is the more changeable, living part of your garden. The plants, ponds, the mulch, the dirt, the lawn, the trees and shrubs all make up soft landscaping materials. With our talented and experienced team we have enjoyed tremendous success over the past five years.
The Garden Business Ltd is a landscaping company with a national reputation for creating natural gardens and mixing with modernity. The Garden Business was established in 2003 achieving a quality portfolio ranging from large gardens open to the public, to smaller private gardens. The Garden Business has also constructed a number of gardens for the Chelsea Flower Show and Channel 4's Grand Designs. Most projects are located near to Bath, with a few undertaken further afield. Despite the scale and complexity of our work we remain a small company offering a personal service from initial concept, through construction and completing with a maintenance program.
We began by prepping the site for the main building contractor saving all the topsoil from pastureland ready to be screened and re-used. We also installed a tree protection barrier to protect delicate rootzones from construction traffic. We will in the coming months build the gardens for the Marketing Suite and then will construct the main gardens. The oak planters were constructed using sleepers fixed into position with oak post hold some plant traing cables. The planters were filled with compost/soil.
