Our plants are grown on our 150 acre nursery in North Yorkshire and cared for by our team of expert horticulturists all year round. Our qualified team can advise you on the best plants to suit your situation and our range can be supplied directly to you ready for planting or we can provide a full planting service. We supply both private and trade customers and our plants are used by home owners, garden designers, stately homes, visitor attractions, businesses, and large scale commercial developments.

Wykeham Mature Plants is part of Dawnay Estate. It was set up in 1975 by the late Lord Downe and has grown to become one of the North's leading commercial nurseries supplying mature trees, hedges and shrubs to local authorities, landscape contractors, garden designers and private homes. Grown in North Yorkshire across 150 acres, our plants are grown steadily over a long period to give our customers the highest quality, hardy mature plants. Set up originally as 'Wykeham Trees' by the late Lord Downe in 1975, with the intention of being the north of England's leading large tree grower.

A full planting service is available as an optional extra for any stock purchased. The Wykeham Mature Plants team, many of which have over 25 year's experience, are experts in planting large trees and shrubs. With this level of experience at hand, customers can be assured that plants will be given the best start possible. Backed by the Wykeham Mature Plants service guarantee, all purchases planted by the team are guaranteed for three years. Added to this is the ongoing aftercare support and guidance needed to ensure the long term successful establishment of the plants.
