Being suppliers of timber, and other related products we have to be aware of the impact that forestry has on the environment. After all, wood is the oldest and most environmentally friendly building material. To lengthen it's life, we use the new generation of wood preservative, Tanalith E. Tanalith E is based on copper triazole technology, this copper is derived from recycled sources and the triazole is biodegradable.

We’ve purchased online several times from Park timber over the last few months, service is always prompt and efficient with products delivered in a day or two. I recently received the wrong products in my delivery a call to them quickly sorted and when I realised I no longer needed them they allowed me to return and swap out with a friendly smile and service 😁 thanks park timber will be back again soon

A very big thank you to park timber in the last 12 months we have had 3 deliveries of decking etc from the guys and all have been absolutely fantastic, especially as we have limited access , all the delivery guys have been accommodating and helpful in helping us getting the timber put away thanks 😊 can highly recommend these guys and the decking is very good quality as well

We are C & L Driveways Ltd, based in Newport, we have been using Park Timber now for many years, we have found the staff to be very helpful, the delivery service is excellent and always able to help with large and small jobs, highly recommended.
order arrived today, dumped on the front lawn where it could be stolen. Pure luck that it wasn't. No knock on the door to tell me it was here (I was in, so to anyone who claims you knocked- you didn't). This is the second time I've caught a Park timber delivery person doing this- the last time, by pure chance, I saw him, and stopped him. If this is a company policy, dump it on the lawn, or on the street, then it needs to change. I've used you a fair bit, but reckon I'll look around in future.

Just before buying some timber, I suddenly thought that I had better check that this company buys from a reputable timber suppliers that is accredited by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council). The Park Timber website says lots of encouraging things about protecting the environment, but cleverly avoids saying what IT does! So I sent an email asking for some clarification. This has surprisingly proved a tricky problem for them as they have failed to reply. Surely in this day and age people should expect a big company like this, to source their wood responsibly. But this does not appear to be the case. I therefore will have to shop at Jewson's as they appear to have everything well organised, including chain of custody. I urge other customers to email Park Timber so that they get their act together and act more responsibly towards our environment.
Lockdown projects - as the weather is getting warmer why not think about creating something. It could be a bird table ready for the migrating birds during the spring, a log and bin store (a great way to tidy the side of your house) or even flower beds ready for the spring and summer. Whatever it is.
