As we look forward to 2021, it's important to consider the impact that 2020 has had on our lives and the influence upon our homes. For many of us, our priorities and lifestyles have altered dramatically and it was inevitable that such a sudden transformation of circumstances would completely change how we look at and use the spaces within our properties. Continuing our Victorian Floor Tile 30th Anniversary celebrations, we're excited to share with you a brand new statement pattern which has been co-created with Period Living magazine!

We've celebrated over 30 years as a successful tile manufacturer and distributor. We have been producing tiles in Exeter, Devon since 1986, using a combination of quality raw materials, traditional techniques alongside new technology, and a skilled and dedicated work force. Original Style tiles are sold through a network of independent retailers. We have recruited these particular companies not only because they share our passion for tiles but they also share our high standards when it comes to offering quality products.

We have a huge range of wall tiles and mosaics made from or containing glass, from large format decorative glass pieces to hexagonal mosaics, from toughened glass splashbacks to gold fleck mosaics and bevelled antique mirror brick shapes. Glass is beautifully reflective, easy to clean and looks beautiful wherever it is installed.

What's the different between porcelain and ceramic tiles? Both are made from natural clay, but different manufacturing processes result in different tiles: porcelain tiles are denser, harder and less porous than ceramic tiles, making them suitable for floors as well as walls. Innovation and advanced technology means there will always be something new and exciting to discover in our Tileworks range of porcelain tiling.

Field tiles, brick shapes and metro tiles in white or cream are classics - choose from our Residence, Artisan and Artworks collections for top quality tiles in different shapes and other colours. Add mouldings and trims to keep with the traditional feel. Victorian Floor Tiles work well in simple patterns, or wood-effect planking from Tileworks have all the qualities of real wood with the practicalities of porcelain tiling. For a neutral backdrop install large format wall and tiles from Tileworks and get a seamless effect, or add colour and shine to walls with Glassworks tiles and Splashbacks.

Our metal mosaics can be made from stainless steel (polished or satin), copper or aluminium. Choose metal for a contemporary look and a reflective surface. Be careful if using metals near electric showers though - always get the work done by a professional electrician.

See our wide selection of hand decorated tiles in various sizes, colours and patterns. Smaller tiles are ideal to use individually to add variety and contrast within a geometric tile pattern and/or border. These decorated tiles are the ideal complement to the plain colours. Based on traditional Victorian designs, the decorations are in colours designed to sit alongside the geometric tiles. Choose from panels, individual drop-ins and borders and corners in differing colours and styles, from the dainty leafy scroll of Lansdowne to the classic Greek Key.
