In 1989, David and Eddie Martin set up Design Window & Door Systems. Having both worked in the glazing industry, their aim was to provide a first-class fabrication and manufacturing service to the window installation trade. Originally established in Mayland, Essex, and employing only a couple of engineers, it was a drive for delivering a cost-effective, high-quality product that determined the direction of the business. With over 50 employees and a strong senior management team, we supply uPVC windows, doors and conservatories to installers all over the South of England and beyond.

Homeowners love the versatility that they bring and the full opening option that enables them to enjoy their garden completely. We've designed our Spartan brand of bifold patio doors to look great too. This door creates an expensive look but one that isn't too hard on the wallet. We fabricate our bifold doors using ultra-slim designs to maximise the amount of visible glass available. Our uPVC bifold doors carry several accreditations being PAS 24, BSI and Secured By Design approved. Multipoint locks are supplied as standard and create a strong barrier to entry.

You can forget the old-fashioned recessed look of white uPVC front doors. Our Spartan uPVC range rivals composite doors on looks, energy efficiency and strength, providing a lower priced range for your customers, without compromising on performance. Our entire uPVC range of front and back doors, windows and conservatories are fabricated from Eurocell extruded profiles. We offer four main styles of door frames, suitable for external use, which are based on our window styles. Our Spartan Traditional and Classic doors are fabricated from the Eurocell Eurologik range, this cost-effective profile features a multi-chambered design providing high thermal efficiency.

The Spartan range offers excellent value for money and impressive quality with a whole range of design options. All doors are manufactured from extruded uPVC manufactured by Eurocell. We fabricate our frames using the Modus and Eurologik range to provide the 4 styles that are also complemented by our Spartan Conservatory and Window range. Our exterior French doors deliver everything you would expect from superior quality fabrication and expert craftsmanship.

We are approved stockists and suppliers for three brands of composite doors. Including Premium Solid Core doors, and Foam Filled Doors- which we market as our Standard range. Our relationships with the manufacturers allow us to sell doors to installers at preferential rates. We offer the entire range from al brands, including hardware, and offer a fast turnaround in manufacturing and delivery. We use Eurocell's Eurologik or Modus range of chambered profiles to construct our frames and use the latest technology in glazing to ensure that every conservatory is a comfortable living space, both in summer and winter.

Every complete door, lock and handle are Secured By Design accredited so you can be sure that you're offering the best security to your customers. The paddock multi-point lock is provided as standard for our uPVC front and back doors, bifold doors and French doors.

Having the right locks help deter and prevent break-ins as well helping to keep home insurance premiums low. We offer 6-point locking systems on every window from the MACO lock range. Spartan Traditional and Classic include the MACO mark 2 shoot bolt and Spartan Modern and Heritage contain the MACO M-SPAG lock. Both lock versions include four roller cams to fix casement into the frame and provide a weather tight seal and two shoot bolts to add an extra level of security securely fixing the window into the frame at the top and bottom.
