Walker Brothers (Timber Frames) Ltd is a family run business (Est. 1986 specialising in the manufacture and design of Timber Frame Buildings, Park Home Lodges, Chalets, Bothys and Glamping Pods, built to the highest specification using qualified tradesmen ensuring quality for every project. By visiting our workshop in Carlisle, you can see first hand the quality that defines a Walker Brothers Timber Frame product.
Walker Brothers was established as a Building Firm in 1986 when local Builder and (ex Carlisle United Star) George Walker went into partnership with his sons Pete and Paul, George's youngest son Andy joined a couple of years later as an Apprentice and now all three Sons continue to work together overseeing our building projects. Over the years, the firm has grown and now employs 15+ people and guided many Apprentices into becoming fully qualified Joiners, most of whom still work with us today 20+ years later.
Timber Frame construction has grown in recent years as a preferred building method for many House Builders. We have worked with contractors all over the country to supply and erect timber frame components from single dwellings to large-scale housing projects. We are able to provide timber frame services to clients who are self-building a home, just give us a call on (01228) 674191.
