Established in 1947, Fletcher Joinery has earned its well deserved reputation for the production of first class high quality joinery products using both traditional and modern techniques. The majority of our work is "one off" bespoke design - not mass produced - and we are happy to offer you a full professional service from start to completion.

Fletcher Joinery specialises in purpose-made, traditional joinery manufacture and installation. All work is completed to the highest standard and to the customer's satisfaction. Any problems and we will be back to sort them out. Once jobs are begun they are completed as soon as possible. Our highly skilled employees are all fully trained to City & Guilds standard and have regular refreshment training in Manual Lifting, Abrasive Wheels, Safe erection, use and dismantling of Mobile Scaffold Towers, Health & Safety Awareness, Fire Marshalling and First Aid.

Mouldings are pieces of decorative shaped timber used in buildings to enhance the appearance of the rooms. These include skirting boards, door architraves, dado rails, picture rails and covings. There are thousands of different mouldings ranging from a simple design to a very elaborate one. It is often very difficult to find a match to existing mouldings "off the shelf" at a timber or builders merchant and this is where Fletcher Joinery can assist by copying your moulding to the exact specification.

Variations to our doors include raised & fielded panels, flat panels, glazed panels, plant moulds, glass beads, bolection moulds and swept & shaped heads. All our external doors are constructed and then dipped in clear wood preserver to ensure that all cuts and edges are fully treated. The preservative will accept paint or stain finish after it has dried. We would be happy to quote for your chosen design and advise on choice of ironmongery and quality locking systems for your security and peace of mind.
