The Mouseman Visitor centre is the home of the Robert Thompson Museum showing some unique pieces created by Robert himself. While you're visiting, enjoy some Yorkshire hospitality at the T café. English Oak (Quercus Robur) is a natural product and is created by Mother Nature herself. As the oak tree takes many hundreds of years to reach maturity, various changes will take place within the tree itself. This is mainly due to the seasonal weather pattern and the different types of soil that the tree grows in. Not forgetting that every branch will in turn produce a visible knot. The produce that you have purchased will display natural variations in colour, grain and texture. These variations will add to the character of every item of furniture.
