Initially contacted having seen other reviews via mutual friends. Could not have been happier from the moment I sent first message. Polite and courteous showing knowledge about the job via photographs straight away. Arrived on time and got straight to it with no fuss. Despite the job taking a bit longer than first thought, Jamie and Connor took it all in their stride even with the unexpected obstacles! Felt very confident that they knew exactly what they were doing and we are thrilled with the results. Everything left in order and beautifully cleaned up too. Will definitely use again.
Jamie and his team renovated our kitchen and bathroom recently and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Friendly, conscientious and all incredibly talented, they were brilliant problem solvers (an absolute necessity thanks to Covid) and everything was done to the highest standard. We couldn’t be happier with the end result.

We have used AJ Building Group previously for some fitted wardrobe so I knew the standard of work would be high quality. Incredibly pleased with our new alcove cupboards, good quality material and well fitted. They work hard all day and left the room tidier than it was in the morning. Would completely recommend Jamie and his team.
We have been using James and his team for 2-3 years now and I can't recommend them enough. Their quality of work is exceptional, they are efficient and get job done quickly always cleaning up before they leave. They are also genuinely really lovely guys. They are happy to take on the smallest of tasks as well as large projects - for us they have fitted bifold doors, laid new bathroom flooring, painted walls, fixed taps and fitted floor boards in our loft plus many more odd jobs.
Jamie and Lewis came out to my house during this lockdown and fixed a broken floor in my son’s bedroom swiftly and efficiently and then as I am an NHS worker , did not charge me . I cannot thank them enough . Will be using them for any future building work and highly recommend them to everyone.

Fitting a set of spot lights in 2 newly refurbished bathrooms. Moving of lights in hallways and updating light switches.
Work carried out to a very good standard. Luke is very knowledgable of his trade. No task was too much trouble (even when we forgot to purchase lightbulbs - Luke was happy to source them and come back). Extremely polite and friendly person to have in your home.
Jamie was professional and friendly throughout the whole process and kept everything clean and tidy from start to finish. He knew exactly what we wanted and achieved this to a very high standard. We are so pleased with our media unit and would recommend Jamie to others.
