I'm Tim James, and I've been working in the PAT testing industry for more than 30 years. At Pat Testing Expert, we believe in sharing the expertise we've gained to benefit our customers and the industry as a whole. We get consistently excellent feedback about our courses and testing services because we focus on providing approaches that are right for you - working with your budget to keep you safe. In an industry that has suffered some reputational damage as a result of a growing number of operators out to make a quick buck, we stand out because we have genuine interest in the subject and integrity is everything to us.
Please note that the discounts mentioned below will only last for a limited time, and will not apply to all of our events - only those mentioned below. Currently we are offering a 10% discount on any PAT Testing course booked directly through this page, using a special discount code. If you've thought about training up to carry out PAT Testing, or perhaps want to train a member of staff to test your own equipment, I have a VERY SPECIAL offer for you! This discount code is valid on the all of our currently advertised courses, and is subject to availability on that particular course.
Portable Appliance Testing (also known as PAT Testing) is a way of checking your electrical equipment to see if it is SAFE. Although not specifically a legal requirement, Portable Appliance Testing is a very necessary part of your organisation's Health and Safety regime. It doesn't matter whether you're a sole trader or a large multi-national corporation; if you use electrical equipment in your business, then you have a responsibility to make sure it is safe. Moreover, Insurance companies are now insisting on PAT Testing being carried out every 12 months (or less) in order to satisfy the conditions of their policy, and local council inspectors (Fire Officers, Environmental Health Officers) are routinely asking for evidence of PAT Testing when they carry out their inspections.
At PAT Testing Expert we believe in offering common-sense advice and professional guidance. This extends to our advice and recommedation when it comes to equipment.
