Jon Pritchard Ltd was founded in 2007 after my brother, Ollie, and I converted the loft in my own home. Friends and acquaintances praised the work carried out, and we did a couple more jobs for neighbours. Everyone seemed impressed not only with our work, but with the attitude and service we provided along the way, saying things like "You just don't seem like stereotypical 'builders'"! The word spread and we saw a niche in the market for loft specialists. Our business quickly went from strength to strength thanks to word-of-mouth, so we brought in Adrian Bartley, an old school friend and professional builder, as our new business partner and Operations Director.

We can add a VELUX window to any roof of the house be it the rear single-storey extension, the existing roof or simply to replace an existing VELUX window. Your new staircase will nearly always be fitted over your existing stairs as a continuation of the stairwell. It's very rare that a standard sized staircase can't be fitted. We will advise you on an appropriate style for your home. Jon Pritchard can supply off-the-shelf styles that often perfectly match your existing stair furniture (spindles, hand rails etc). Our extensive experience converting lofts has enabled us to hone our build process to an efficient and smooth one - and we are continually working to streamline and shorten our build time even more. The schedule is only a guide; the exact project length and timeline may vary depending on the type of house you live in, and the design and details of your loft conversion.
