Fairmitre (Shropshire) Windows & Conservatories Ltd is a family owned and run business who have been manufacturing and installing high quality conservatories, orangeries, windows and doors since 1982. We have now built up an enviable reputation by providing our valued customers with high quality products and a personal service to suit individual requirements at a fair and competitive price. Our company showrooms are impressively displayed and set in landscaped gardens at Long Oak, one mile outside West Felton along the A5 where anyone is welcome to visit.

We offer a full turnkey solution, starting from a pre-arranged site visit right through to completing the plumbing, lighting and even supplying the furniture. We supply windows, doors, secondary glazing, porches, conservatories and orangeries along with fascia, soffit and guttering in a wide range of materials from traditional wood to PVC-u and aluminum. All timber is manufactured in-house at our workshops beside the showroom at Long Oak and our timber products are available in various sizes, designs and materials, from softwoods to European oaks.

Fairmitre wooden doors are externally beaded and can be manufactured to almost any design or requirements that perfectly compliment your windows. Double or single, inward or outward opening, the choice is yours. We also manufacture tilt and slide patio doors which are internally beaded. The master door leaf is fitted with 'Secured by Design' and 'Fullex' high security shoot bolt locking with lever/lever handles available in gold, chrome or black as standard. All doors are pre-hung in our factory prior to leaving for site.

We are not restricted by set sizes, styles or shapes - our conservatories are tailor made and built completely by our own dedicated, highly skilled craftsmen, and as our timber conservatories are constructed in our own factory fully under our control, we maintain an uncompromisingly high standard.

The Orangery design is fast growing in popularity and now seems to be becoming the preferred option for modern glazed extensions. The Orangery can be made from timeless Virgin PVC-u in numerous colours and designs or solid wood.

There is a huge choice of doors styles and colours available. It starts with the conventional PVCU door with or without a midrail. You might choose glass top and bottom or a panel at the bottom - letter plate - knocker - spyhole, they are all there for you to choose. Fairmitre (Shropshire) Windows and Conservatories Limited supply and install as standard internally beaded PVC-u double glazed, energy rated windows using the Rehau S706 window system which promotes a practical and durable solution to make your home more attractive and comfortable. In addition to brilliant White there are various foiled woodgrain finishes in white Grained, Irish Oak, Golden Oak, Mahogany, Rosewood, Green and Cream on both sides or White internally - or over one hundred RAL colour finishes upon request.

The made to measure Fairmitre wooden casement window is individually manufactured to allow flexibility of design, size and style. Fairmitre's unique patented mitred joint system means that no end grain is exposed to the elements in the main frame and sash. Beyond looking good, it ensures continuity of moulding and contours around the frames and eliminates moisture traps to help ensure the window's long life. With our full factory finish option, frames are stained or coated with a spray applied, 3 layer paint system under a controlled factory conditions, helping to extend maintenance intervals to 5-7 years under typical conditions.

All our joinery work is done in house and every detail chosen by you ranging from moulding styles and designs. We specialise in listed building and conservation areas ensure every detail it matched but where available using modern methods.
