Our Technical Manager, Jon Mawer is a qualified engineer, fully trained in the installation, repair and servicing of all makes and models of stairlifts for over 20 years. Our Customer Care Manager, Sarah, has years of experience in customer care and is an expert at putting customers at ease and focusing on safety.
The decision to install a stairlift is often a difficult one to make, but when compared with the alternative of moving, or only living on one level of their home, many people have found a stairlift to be their preferred solution. The idea of deciding which stairlift is right for you, and having it fitted, can be a daunting one, however they can usually be fitted in a couple of hours and we promise to help and guide you every step of the way. Stairlifts fall into two basic categories; straight and curved; it can be confusing to know which type you need.
All Priority Stairlifts come with a years' warranty and one free annual service. This gives you 12 months peace of mind with your stairlift installation. All stairlifts do require annual servicing and maintenance for them to work efficiently and safely. Priority Stairlifts offer an annual service for 75-85. Even if your stairlift hasn't been installed by us, we are more than happy to carry out annual stairlift maintenance servicing.
If your staircase consists of one complete flight of stairs leading to a top landing or hallway, with no middle landing, you may require a straight stairlift. The unique slimline design of this stairlift means there is plenty of space left for visitors and other members of your family to use the stairs. In situations where there may be an obstruction at the foot of the staircase (usually a door), or where the lift could cause a tripping hazard, a hinged rail is required to 'fold back' away from the obstruction when the stairlift is not in use.
I would like to say a huge thank you to Sarah, Jon & team for their first class service when installing my parents stair lift. Sarah was lovely, explained everything & measured up but no pushy sales at all. She left my parents with a quote. Mum & Dad decided they were happy to go ahead & within a week the installation was complete. My Mum & Dad are over the moon & happily gliding up & down the stairs.
