Plastering is the basis for all the other decorating and finishing you do, and you can't afford to hire someone who doesn't know what they're doing and isn't reliable. The way we look at it is that we will assess your job and then give you a down-to-earth, jargon free, professional opinion on what you need and how much it will cost, whether you need work on your home or you're working on a large commercial project. Most of our customers come from word of mouth referrals from existing, satisfied clients.

You could build yourself a home office for your business and stop paying expensive rent on office space, you could keep the kids happy with a play room or a den, turn your garage into an extra bedroom for guests or for your growing family, create an annexe for an elderly parent, put in that gym you've always wanted, build an epic games room or create the man (or woman!) cave of your dreams. You're only limited by your imagination. And with a garage conversion, you can gain a whole extra space without having to go through the hassle of moving house!

Rising damp can cause awful problems in your home or office, including peeling wallpaper, damp spots, mould and crumbling plaster, and if untreated, it can cost a fortune to put right. But a good damp course can prevent damp from taking over your home. Damp proofing is a layer of water-resistant material, such as plastic membrane or slate, that's in the walls of your property and prevents damp from rising up your walls. Without it, moisture can rise up the walls via capillary action. Most buildings nowadays will have a damp proof course, but over time, your damp proofing could become damaged and need action to correct it, before your building becomes susceptible to damp.

Dry lining can have some advantages over fresh wet plastering, especially if you have a short deadline before you move on to painting or wallpapering and can't afford to allow for drying time. What is dry lining? Simply attaching plasterboard to your walls or ceiling, either by sticking it on with dabs of glue, or by nailing or screwing it flush against the wall. Gluing will leave a small cavity that does actually slightly reduce the size of your room, and nailing the plasterboard doesn't, but you do need to consider that either version may cause difficulties if you want to attach radiators and shelving to your walls.
