I first qualified as a bricklayer in 2000 then served an apprenticeship with a major house builder slowly gaining hands on tool experience. In 2004 I moved on to Manchester City Council gaining valuable multi-skilled experience, but over time I craved the "big builds" and moved into the home build sector. When working for other small builders, I noticed the real lack of communication and trust between customer and tradesman. I thought there must be a better way! And there is. In every job I take on I feel a friendship must be forged and only a excellent level of communication will be a good enough foundation on which to start that extension, garden wall or even a small patio.
