I established the company in 2014 having been a bathroom fitter for many years. I was determined to help older and less able people with mobility difficulties who struggle getting in and out of the bath and live in fear of tripping up, getting stuck or falling over.

After 12 years of installing mobility bathrooms and traveling all over the country working for the large mobility bathroom company's I decided to start up my own business. I could not believe the amount of money the bigger companies are charging, even for a simple installation! I also found their after service care was extremely poor once they had got your money. My business plan was simple, do a better job at a lower price and with excellent customer service. We launched Bathe in safety in 2013 and to start with it was just me and my apprentice.

For people with compromised mobility, a level access wet room offers a practical and safe showering environment that can greatly increase personal independence at home. And it's also the perfect showering space for every member of the family, regardless of age or mobility. A wet room provides safer, easier access than most conventional bathrooms due to its wide, open plan design and level flooring with no shower tray to pose an ever-present trip hazard. Wet rooms can be installed without an enclosure; therefore the whole room becomes the shower area.

Regardless of age or mobility, we all want to live life independently for as long as possible, maintaining dignity and self-respect in the comfort of our own homes. A real focus for us at Bathe in Safety is helping people of all ages to do just that simply by fitting a bathroom that is safe, secure, and specially tailored to their needs. We've been designing and fitting easy-access bathrooms and wet rooms in people's homes across Kent and Sussex for many years now. Over that time, we've gained a wealth of experience that means we really appreciate the requirements and concerns people have.

There's a growing need for safe, accessible bathrooms and an increasing recognition of the practical and emotional benefits of a wetroom. Bathe in Safety is a tight-knit team of experts who design and fit accessible bathrooms of all sizes and shapes - for people of all ages and shapes! We help private customers living in their own homes; we work within residential and care homes and also for local councils and housing associations. Whether in a flat, a bungalow or a house; whether upstairs or down, whether replacing an existing bathroom or creating a new one, we'll work closely with you to understand your particular needs and desires so we can fit the bathroom you really want - with every detail considered.

We started Bathe in Safety back in 2012. Since then, we have grown year on year, building a sound reputation for quality, commitment and professionalism throughout Kent and Sussex. Having been bathroom fitters for 20 years we had become increasingly aware of the need for accessible bathrooms. And we were horrified at the limited help and relevant products available.
