Jet or pressure washing uses high pressure water to remove mold, algae, lichen, moss, and other contaminants from any surface. Jet washing gives you immediate results that look great however they may not last as long.

A little moss shouldn't be much a problem for your roof (although it can look ugly), but a lot of moss can retain water which which can cause the roofing materials to rot. Furthermore, the water trapped by the moss collects in gaps between your roof tiles, and as that water freezes and thaws it can push the tiles apart. It also prevents good run-off from your roof and clogs your gutters and drains with debris.
