CRP (Corrosion Resistant Products) have been supplying PTFE lined products to the chemical, pharmaceutical and associated process industries since 1983. We manufacture PFA lined pipe fittings using carbon steel castings and an automated transfer moulding process at our company headquarters located in a major manufacturing region of the UK, Greater Manchester. At this site we also make paste extruded PTFE liners using one of the most advanced thick wall PTFE liner extrusion processes in Europe. These liners are used to produce lined pipe spools up to 350mm (14inch) nominal bore at our plant.
CRP offer a broad range of heat exchangers for use with highly corrosive medias. In partnership with GAB Neumann of Maulburg, Germany we can design and supply highly efficient heat exchangers from a wide range of available designs to ensure one best suited to your application. We offer both graphite and silicon carbide (SSiC) heat exchangers. GAB Neumann have been manufacturing heat exchangers for 50+ years and have supplied more than 20,000 exchangers across the globe to work in the most arduous duties.
It is possible to provide a source of heating or cooling to a lined piping system by using jackets around the equipment. Here the core pipe is completely surrounded by a jacket pipe. The process material travels through the lined pipe as normal, whilst the heating or cooling medium travels through the outer jacket. Jackets typically contain steam, hot water or oil. These can be operated at temperatures of up to the maximum operating temperature of the lining - 200oC or the required process temperature if lower.
As a medium sized business, CRP does not always have job opportunities, but we welcome any enquiries. We have all of the roles associated with a manufacturing business including sales, planning, procurement, design and process engineering, finance and general administration. We have a diverse range of manufacturing activities including running specialist processes associated with PTFE and PFA lined equipment, product fabrication, painting and assembly. This works ranges from semi-skilled through to requiring craft apprentice, HND and graduate level employees.
