Derwentside Antiques has been a successful business for over 15 years. Stocking hundreds of reclaimed, vinatge, retro, period and original items. This Aladdins cave is full of unique and unusual pieces all displayed in a magnificent 19th Century flour mill within the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site. As you enter the showrooms the very first room gives an overall impression of what you can expect. Beautiful tables, chairs, dressers, chests of drawers and grandfather clocks together with a vast selection of original and reproduction door handles, knobs and knockers.

We can manufacturer to order, bespoke wooden doors. So if you have a pending project, new build or just simply the need to replace an old door, we can provide a hand made door for you. Here are a small selection of the external doors we have created. Our stained glass studio has completely refurbished and repaired the glass panels using where possible pieces of original glass from our own collection. Oak external door and frame, finished in high Build exterior oil. We have encapsulated an original Art Nouveau stained glass and fitted black iron handles, letter plate and yale lock cover.

From bespoke Free Standing Wardrobes to bespoke fitted wardrobes, we can provide you with a quality product that will fit with you exacting requirements. This wardrobe was made in solid Oak to fit into an awkward space. If you look at the left hand side you will see where it was made to fit exactly to the wall so that it left nowhere for the dirt to collect.

We also offer a manufacturing service using reclaimed or new timber, waxed or painted to your choice.

Rental spaces are avaliable on all 4 floors, sizes of these spaces vary from floor to floor but range from 120 sq ft to 4500 sq ft, all with "Easy in - Easy out" terms that include business rates and lighting. This is a great opportunity to join us here at Unity Mill. Customers and clients will benefit from Free Parking and our showroom is open 7 days a week for enquiries. The Mill is secure, has CCTV and 24 hour a day presence.
