We specialise in the supply of fireplaces, stoves, granite and marble worktops, bespoke masonry and natural stone products. J Day Stoneworks has the expertise to help you find the right fireplace, stove, or granite worktop to suit your needs. We are able to advise you on which products will work for you, and can demonstrate many alternatives to you with over 100 fires and stoves on display in our showroom.

Operating from our one acre site in Colney Heath for over 50 years we have built up an unparalleled stock of natural materials and original fireplaces.

Our primary supplier of Gas fires and stoves is Gazco, as they offer a comprehensive range of products with outstanding customer service, alongside good availability. We also stock a comprehensive selection of Bellfires gas fires and have at least 6 Bellfire display models working in our showroom. To supplement our Gazco and Bellfire ranges we also offer products from Capital Fireplaces, specifically a range of modest sized applicances for more budget conscious customer.

Gas Stoves offer the efficiency of a woodburning or multifuel stoves but in a easier to light & control format, burning natural gas or lpg depending on the brand. Gas stoves have a fixed coal or log effect display, and range in efficiency between 70 to 80%. Gas stoves are suitable for customers who like the stove format but prefer the convenience of instant heat from gas, or those who have limited storage space for wood.
