This kitchen project involved demolishing the wall between the kitchen and dining room to make a larger space. We used steel props to hold the building up and inserted a steel universal beam for permanent support. The local authority building control team inspected our work and gave us the ok to continue. New wiring was then installed for the sockets, lighting and extractor hood. The whole area was then re-plastered and the new kitchen units, worktops, cooker and plumbing installed. Finally the kitchen was finished off with new flooring and wall tiles.
Removed large built in cupboard to provide more space for the shower and provide a more aesthetically pleasing room. This bathroom also had a lot of pipe work running above the floor which was re-routed below floor level.
