Grainge Architects Ltd has developed from its beginnings in 1990 to become one of the leading architectural practices in the South West. We have built up a strong body of experience in many sectors - health, community, churches, education, public and private housing, emergency services, hotels and commerce. Our work encompasses full building and fit-out design, urban design, feasibility studies, master-planning and client-advisory services. Grainge Architects has developed a reputation for possessing clear understanding of client requirements through thorough briefing as well as delivering practical and imaginative design solutions to difficult problems resulting in well conceived and delivered buildings.

As an RIBA Chartered Practice we are committed to the appointment of dedicated and experienced staff and an ongoing programme of professional development. The practice has been able to establish and maintain a well-balanced and productive team which is able to respond to complex problems and challenging deadlines. Changing patterns of procurement for buildings over recent years have in some areas resulted in a move away from traditional architect-led methods in favour of design-and-build, contractor/client partnering and so on.
