We are Liverpool based architects, planning consultants, landscape architects and masterplanners. Our award-winning multi-disciplinary design and planning practice is intensely-client focused. We have a proven success at exceeding planning and design expectations and creating value for our clients on projects large and small. Cass Associates are delighted to have been included on the Innovation Chain North Framework as planning consultants. We look forward to assisting with the delivery of housing across the North of England, drawing on experience we have built up over the last 35 years.

We are frequently called upon to negotiate complex agreements with local authorities and conservation agencies as part of the planning process. Richard Roberts, director and design team leader at Cass Associates, is a RIBA-Accredited Conservation Architect.

We have structured the services and approach provided by Studio Cass around the partiuclar requirements of domestic projects, whilst being able to call on the experience of over 30 years in practice and 1400 completed projects. To simplify the process for our clients, if required, we are able to offer a full integrated service - incorporating not only architectural design and project management services but also expert planning guidance and landscape design.

We are a RIBA accredited conservation architect practice and have specialist knowledge in conservation and listed buildings. We also offer, via StudioCass, a bespoke professional service delivering one-off private houses and high specification extensions for individual private clients.

Our multi-disciplinary structure enables us to reconcile these fundamental planning issues, and include support from our architecture, masterplanning and landscape architecture specialists. Efficient project management by our planning consultants is key to our service, achieving cost effective and sustainable outcomes while adding significant value to any project. Our strong track record covers all sectors from small one-off domestic projects through to large-scale multi-million pound schemes. In particular the practice has worked extensively on projects that secure the self-sustaining regeneration of disadvantaged urban areas and strategic industrial sites.

Our Landscape Architecture team creates attractive, sustainable and ecologically rich places which also provide an efficient, attractive and durable setting for development. Our integrated, multi-disciplinary method of working coupled with the large scale, long term nature of many of our projects allows landscape architectural solutions to be embedded from the outset. We frequently co-ordinate Environmental Statements in support of planning applications, including carrying out detailed Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA's) for large and small sites.

We view scheme design and project delivery as a continuous, integrated process involving creative, technical and 'hands on' project management skills. This approach has been applied successfully across a broad range of building types, including housing, leisure, cultural, educational and commercial projects. We provide all aspects of architectural design, from feasibility studies to completion. We are a Chartered RIBA Practice and have specialist expertise in conservation architecture. We can offer Principal Designer Services if required as part of an integrated service.
