Project History: Blackstone Architects were commissioned to enlarge the existing bungalow consisting of a dormer tired in appearance, out of character and providing limited and tight accommodation. The project has posed many challenges to produce a design that balances the clients accommodation needs whilst respecting the moated site and Area of Special Environmental Quality context. The rear elevation was designed to maximise the bedroom views of this moat without comprising overlooking of rear gardens.
