Sterland & Elgar

We are a family firm, specialising in installing practical and robust heating systems based on extremely high efficiency boilers and renewable technology. Sterland & Elgar was founded in the middle of the last century by Charlie Sterland, a Birmingham heating engineer and Eileen Elgar, niece of the composer Edward Elgar.

We are uniquely placed to offer good advice, as we are one of the few companies in the UK with substantial experience of heating with both conventional (oil and gas) and renewable (wood logs, wood pellets, solar, heat pumps) fuels.
