Lochinvar designs, manufactures and distributes a large range of gas-fired boilers and water heaters, and complementary equipment including thermal stores and indirect and direct storage vessels. Our traditional products can also be integrated with renewable or low carbon technologies, such as heat pumps and solar thermal. One of the foundations of our success since 1976, has been our attention to Customer service. This includes our own team of service technicians, supplemented by a number of esablished service partner companies.

Lochinvar products have been providing energy-efficient heating and hot water solutions in the UK and Ireland since 1976. We are based in Banbury, Oxfordshire, where we keep substantial stock levels of Boilers, Water Heaters and spare parts for prompt delivery. It's fair to say that for generations, millions of people worldwide have enjoyed the comfort of efficient heating or hot water from Lochinvar products.

Our range of water heaters includes direct gas-fired, indirect/calorifiers and packaged plate heat exchangers proving solutions to a wide variety of residential, commercial and industrial applications. We have also supplied Copper-fin Water Heaters in the UK since 1981; we are still able to supply these products but following the EcoDesign/ErP Regulations which became effective in September 2015, Copper-fin Boilers can only be supplied and installed as replacements. If you're designing a hot water solution where you are limited by new regulations that are meant to reduce our carbon footprint, in locations where conventional fuels are not available, or where you choose for ease of installation, we offer you a range of electric water heaters.

Ourgas-fired boilerscovers outputs from 51 to 576 kW all of which can be installed in cascade installations for a range of commercial and industrial applications. We have also supplied Copper-fin Boilers in the UK since 1981; we are still able to supply these products but following the EcoDesign/ErP Regulations which became effective in September 2015, Copper-fin Boilers can only be supplied and installed as replacements. Condensing technology is employed in most modern gas-fired boilers these days and using such products to replace traditional boilers is a well established method of saving energy consumption and fuel running costs.

Many years later, when Abbotsford House, the former home of Sir Walter Scott, underwent a major refurbishment programme, our high-efficiency boilers and water heaters were chosen. We currently offer 3 Renewable technologies which are Air Source Heat Pumps, Gas Absorption Heat Pumps and Solar Thermal. In recent years we have supplied these units for a number of commercial and industrial applications, in most cases integrating with our high-efficiency gas-fired boilers and water heaters. This integrated approach can provide significant savings on capital cost, when compared with a 'renewable-only' installation. The traditional gas-fired products are only designed to fire when demand is high or for back-up, with the renewable technology taking care of what could be described as the standard load.
