All Clean (Worcester) Ltd. provides a high-quality service in the maintenance of fire and smoke dampers and cleaning of ventilation systems. The company evolved from All Clean, one of the leading industrial cleaning companies in the Midlands in the last 25 years. Excellent background, experience and knowledge gives us the confidence to perform our task to the highest possible standards. All Clean (Worcester) Ltd. is a member of NAAD UK.
It's often the case, even in new buildings, that the location of fire & smoke dampers is not precisely known. In association with MultiCAD Solutions, we can identify & locate the dampers and either draw the ductwork system in its entirety or add them to an existing drawing along with other critical items such as air handling units and volume control dampers. This would ensure that on-going mandatory maintenance & inspection is not only thorough but less time consuming as well. Although there is a cost attached to the initial work to identify the components and get them on paper, all future inspections/maintenance are facilitated to the extent that the initial cost is recovered quickly.
All operatives of All Clean (Worcester) Ltd. are trained up to BESA TR-19 standard to provide a high quality of cleaning the ventilation system.
Intumescent fire dampers incorporate components, which expand by intumescent activity under the action of heat, to close the airway to prevent the passage of fire. The intumescent materials form the main component for fire integrity. In some instances, this may be supported with a mechanical device to prevent cold smoke leakage. Activation temperatures will be influenced by the type of intumescent material selected and these temperatures typically range from 120 degrees C to 270 degrees C. Some in-tumescent dampers, whilst containing fire and hot smoke, also incorporate an electro-mechanical device that provides cold smoke containment by interface with smoke sensors via a fire alarm panel.
The presence of microbiological organisms in ductwork could be problematic. High moisture, warm conditions and poor hygiene of ductwork could potentially lead to the growth of harmful pathogenic microorganisms. Dust, gathered in ductwork is another problem. It not only makes perfect condition for microorganisms to grow, but it reduces air flow in the ductwork, this could lead to a bad smell and dampness from the ventilation system. High levels of dust also represent a serious fire hazard. All Clean is providing Swab testing for bacteria and yeast as well as PVT tests for dust, followed by laboratory analysis and a report.
