NC Designs was started in 1992 initially as an associate design company to an already established firm of plumbing and heating subcontractors with Neil Calck as Director and David Clements as Design Engineer. Over the next couple of years the company evolved into consulting engineers specialising in the domestic heating sector carrying out designs for local, regional and national developers either directly or through boiler, radiator or cylinder manufacturers. We have gradually built up the company from our original staff of two up to its present 10 mechanical design engineers and we work closely with three Electrical consultancies and two Building Energy Efficiency Consultancies to offer a complete MEP package.
NC Designs specialises in Domestic and Light Commercial Electrical Design Services. We design in the region of 5000 house types a year, with most of this work load coming from the National builders and several Blue Chip manufacturers. We also design for Electrical contractors. We design systems from one bedroom flats up to multi-million pound houses, and are able to offer advice on the best and most energy efficient systems to suit the client's needs.
