Yes you may have had the existing boiler serviced, and yes the service engineer says not to change it as the new ones aren't as good, but, are you really comfortable with the cost of heating your home with oil at 60ppl+, are you sure it's okay to have flue gases of 250c exiting your home when a condensing boiler has flue gas temperatures of 60-80c and if you're not, would you like to do something about it?

By having a Prejet Cookers pressure jet oil burner you could cut the Agas oil consumption by about 1000 litres per year. With a conversion cost of 2400 (deluxe built-in) the payback is 4 years, you'd need to be attracting 25% interest in the bank to beat that! If your Aga has been installed for 30 or 40 years there is a pretty good chance that the insulation has slumped.

This price will include standard service parts such as a nozzle which some others charge for. Outside this agreement will be repair items, but these will come at a reduced rate as I keep many on my van for breakdown purposes anyway. Your boiler will need to be switched off for the duration of the service (someone did ask) but I will ask you to turn it on momentarily before I service it - just to make sure it has no pre-existing problems.
