It's important that all electrical installations are regularly inspected to ensure that any deficiencies or deterioration of the installation is observed. Think of it as an MOT for your electrics. You may never have had any problems, but your electrics can still be unsafe. Remember, electricity can be dangerous. The law on electrical testing in rental properties is changing shortly. From 1st July 2020 any properties newly tenanted will require an electrical condition report & from 1st April 2021 all existing tenanted properties will need to comply as well.

The installation of a low energy Positive Input Ventilation unit will ensure the air in your home is completely replaced with better quality air around 20 times a day. This is the recommended rate to maintain good air quality. We've installed a number of these systems. Not one customer has told us that it doesn't work well, infact the feedback has been incredibly positive. The only other consideration is that its strongly recommended that you have fans in your bathrooms and kitchens as this will help extract the excessive humidity that you have in these rooms (we can help with that as well).

Electric heating has changed dramatically in the last few years. There are many options now available depending on your requirements, lifestyle, budget and insulation. Don't be drawn in by the large companies selling only one type of heater, where they will convince you that they have the best heater on the market and its perfect for you! As an independent, we won't try to get you to buy one particular heater. Instead, we look at all the options available on the market, ask you a few questions and then recommend one or two types of heater that will suit your needs and provide you with a quote.
