Our engineering design services extend beyond the external structure of electrical enclosures and can also cover the internal design and fitting of any electrical equipment, data, panels, components and cabling. The very beginning of any fabrication process starts with metal cutting. Here at ICEE we offer both fibre laser and waterjet cutting services, made available through our two new, state-of-the art profile cutting machines. After the metal sheet has been cut, folding, welding, coating and plating would follow before assembly into a custom product to cater for your specific needs.
Our advanced computer-aided design facilities (3D CAD from SolidWorks) are directly linked to the computer-numerical controlled (CNC) machines on ICEE's shop floor. This enables the practical delivery of a swift, efficient, and accurate design, coupled to make and test of prototypes, followed by rapid one-off or batch production. Our design for manufacturing service is available as part of our fabrication process and may be provided for either single projects or included within a total end-to-end solution, encompassing design, fabrication, installation, and maintenance.
Our laser cutting service enables us to provide clients with a fast and efficient supply of highly accurate profiled parts due to our investment in state of the art fibre laser cutting machinery. The fibre laser technique is an advanced, widely-adopted process that produces parts very quickly with little or no thermal distortion and with very high precision. Our advanced software 'nesting' application optimises parts cut out of sheet material, so that scrap is minimised, enabling us to offer significant cost-savings to our clients.
ICEE provides planned and preventative maintenance, including replacement, for all types of electrical equipment. Our flexible approach means that maintenance inspections and related work may be performed at off-peak times when demand on the the customer's system is low.
