With over 29 years' experience in designing, supplying, installing, commissioning and certifying all types of Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems, General Ventilation Systems and Process Ventilation Systems, we believe we can offer the right advice for any project. A correctly designed General Ventilation system will provide the best possible indoor air quality which can be a huge benefit to both employer and employee. General Ventilation systems are used primarily to control temperature and humidity however these systems are also often utilised to remove and dilute fume, dust and odours associated with industrial and manufacturing processes. The Workplace (Health, Safety & Welfare) Regulations require building owners and managers to ensure that enclosed workplaces are adequately ventilated with fresh purified air.

Our clients know that getting the right help at the right time is good business sense and is essential in ensuring employers' and employees' health and safety protection. We pride ourselves on our ability to supply the correct specification for dust control equipment, which is manufactured to meet relevant Health and Safety legislation in both the UK and EU, using quality components and construction materials.

EVS offer a full after-sales service including maintenance and service; we offer a call-out facility, which can be either processed on a contractual basis or an individual basis. We are independent ventilation engineers and we have a wealth of experience within the service market sector.

LEV assessment and certification is a mandatory requirement under UK Legislation and must be undertaken by any employer who has operational Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) Systems which are provided to ensure the protection of personnel from dust, fume or chemical emissions within the workplace. Ventilation systems are classed as LEV if they are provided to control, capture or contain airborne contaminants such as dust, fumes or vapours. LEV assessments are required once every 14 months (some LEV systems more frequently) and certification must be retained for a period of five years to gain compliance of the applying regulations.

For many years EVS have specialised in the design and installation of solvent extraction and chemical control ventilation systems comprising UPVC/Polypropylene plant and ductwork. We offer a wide product range from standard fume cupboards through to bespoke fully welded, ducted ventilation systems, with or without abatement systems. We offer a complete service, from design and manufacture to installation and commissioning, including on-site maintenance and servicing, enabling us to exercise full supervisory control over every project.
