Custom Electronic Fire and Security Ltd (CEFS Ltd) although rebranded in 1998 has actually been trading since the late 1970's. The original company, named Trident Security, was initially set up to offer services into the domestic market sector but such was the success of the business it became obvious that it would be necessary to move into the commercial and industrial sector and thus a major restructure and re-branding took place. We are an SSAIB certified company. Being regulated and inspected by the Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB) for the service and installations of intruder alarm systems you will be in safe hands knowing that we are accredited to carry out this work by a third party certification scheme.

CEFS intruder alarm systems are individually designed for installation in many situations, from domestic through to small retail outlets, commercial offices to large industrial manufacturing complexes. Following recent developments within the emergency lighting industry we are now able to install self testing emergency lighting systems. Traditionally fire alarms have been constructed using conventional break glass call points, smoke detectors, heat detectors etc. Recently however there has been a surge in the use of smoke beams which can cover roof space up to a distance of 200m by simply installing a transmitter at one side of the building and a receiver at the other.
