You can extend the life of your automatic gates from the off with regular servicing. This also maintains any warranties you may have on new automation equipment - even if we did not install your gates in the first instance. Owning automated access control equipment does not come without responsibility. We can help you comply with HSE by adding safety features to existing systems and providing all the necessary service schedules and certification. Irrespective of whether your system was installed by Fort Knox Security, if you are experiencing any problems or anomalies with your gate system we offer a fast response automatic gate repair service, (aiming to / usually) providing an engineer on site either same day or the following working day. We find the majority of automatic gate faults are easily solved there and then. Should your automatic gate system require new parts or more complex repair work, we have the resources to ensure we can have your system fully operational in the shortest possible time.

If your building needs some added security we can supply and install various access control systems. We use Paxton access, a UK based supplier of access control equipment. We offer card reader/fob reader, keypad access, all networked to a central server PC where you can lock/unlock doors, assign access right to users/groups, lockdown a building/school, set time zone for selected areas to unlock automatically. We use Telguard, a UK based supplier of telephone entry systems - with many options including GSM or landline setups - telguard products allow us extra security control when providing ways of opening and closing gates and / or other access control systems.

The gate may think there is something in the way and won't close until it has cleared, there may not be anything apparent in the way but there may be something blocking the safety beam signal. Regular servicing is recommended for residential automatic gate systems, and a legal requirement for commercial, industrial and public areas. Having your gate system serviced by Fort Knox also allows us to keep records of your equipment and its usage, this recorded information puts us in a position to source parts faster and fault find easier should you experience a problem. Service agreements ensure peace of mind that your system is being professionally and thoroughly maintained. You do not necessarily need to be home so long as we can gain access, if you would like to be home you can specify a day.
