Peoplesafe

Our National Response Service is an integral part of the Peoplesafe subscription and provides an alternative emergency response should the emergency services be unable to attend an incident, an emergency service is not appropriate, or for any non emergency response that employees may require. This service is offered through a network of approved security companies spread across the UK, employing over 1,000 mobile teams. Each company is certified by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) Approved Contractor Scheme which ensures continuous high standards are achieved.

Our Alarm Receiving Centre is certified against BS EN 50518:2019 Category 1 and BS 8484:2016 and operated by highly-trained, experienced staff who are experts at handling lone worker alarms. BS 8484:2016 certification enables the highest level of police response with a Unique Reference Number (URN). We hold a full list of URNs for all UK police forces, giving us direct access to police control rooms without the need for a 999 call, guaranteeing the fastest possible response. The Alarm Receiving Centre is the hub of where we receive and deal with personal safety alarm activations whether they are false alarms, planned activations or genuine incidents.

We ensure the safety of lone workers through the provision of emergency SOS button functionality - either via a smartphone app or dedicated personal safety device. Each solution transmits real time audio and data links to our high-tech Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). The Incident Managers in the ARC are supported by bespoke pod technology that integrates with the Peoplesafe Portal and each of our end-user solutions to serve them with all the information they need when an alarm is raised. Our entire end-to-end service is solely dedicated to at-risk and lone workers; we've perfected handling these alarms over our long history as the market leader.
