We are experienced in the installation of domestic and commercial renewable energy systems including Solar Photovoltaic (PV), Solar Thermal (Hot Water), Wind, and for domestic applications - Heat Pumps and Biomass heating systems. We have now been installing solar systems for nearly 25 years and have installed a wide range of modern renewable energy storage systems including battery storage from Tesla and Powerflow Energy - the Sundial, and thermal storage from Consolar and Sunamp. Each project is carefully considered and the best design solution to a renewable future is assessed, whether it is Domestic, Agricultural or Commercial, taking into account the energy requirements, site location and any other contributing factors to ensure you receive the most efficient system available.

Our friendly and approachable team can guide you through the whole process of installation, from initial advice and design, through competent fitting, to follow-up servicing. We fit and service systems in Gloucestershire & the surrounding counties. These range from small domestic systems to large commercial ones. From a Castle Keep to a zero-carbon house! The team operates from their base at The Greenshop in Bisley. This award-winning building is a fine example of how a new building can be built with modern eco technology, yet still blend within a rural landscape.

Heat pumps absorb heat from different sources (Air, Ground, Water, etc) which is passed through a compressor and can then be used to heat underfloor heating systems, radiators, warm air systems or water. They work in exactly the same way as a refrigerator which extracts heat from inside and transfers it out. Electrical energy is used to concentrate the heat energy from low temperature to warm temperature required by the house. Heat pumps could lower your fuel bills and reduce your homes carbon emissions, especially if you are replacing conventional electric heating.

We supply and install woodburning and multi-fuel (wood and coal) burning stoves. Stoves can be a cost effective way of heating your home as well as providing a cosy atmosphere in your living room. Wood stoves also have the advantage of being environmentally friendly as wood is a green, sustainable source of fuel which when burnt only releases the carbon that was absorbed from the atmosphere by the tree as it grew. There are many different things to take into consideration when choosing your wood stove including the type of fuel you wish to burn, the space you have to fit the stove in and your heating requirements.

A thermal store is a way of storing and managing thermal energy until it is needed. It can provide fresh mains pressure hot water and can supply your heating system (radiators, underfloor etc.). It is possible to combine the thermal store with all types, and more than one type of heating appliance, including existing or new oil, gas, or biomass boilers, wood boiler stoves, solar thermal installations and also heat pumps. Another method is store electrical energy in batteries for reuse later. After the sun has gone in the evening stored power can be recovered and delivered to supply the demand.
