Garages, driveways, and outbuildings are often viewed as "soft" targets by thieves and can all be easily protected with CCTV designed to do the job. And with several weeks archived footage you can view events you may not have immediately known have happened, for example, a vehicle which has been parked up for a few weeks and you had no way of knowing a catalytic converter was stolen until you drove it.

Sentry Security was established in 1992 as an intruder alarm and CCTV installation and maintenance company. Sentry Security operates across Cleveland, County Durham and North Yorkshire, with many landmark properties and established businesses amongst our list of clients. We install systems in domestic, industrial, commercial, public sector and licensed premises and we specialise in a range of wired, wireless and hybrid systems that are tailored for each installation. We have been a member of the Security Systems & Alarms Inspection Board since 1996 and achieved the certificate of Excellence in 2000/2001 which is awarded for on-going high standards.

We specialise in the testing and servicing of emergency lights and we can supply, install and service all types of systems to BS 5266 in any kind of premises large or small. We service and repair all systems in all properties to the latest British Standard of BS5839. The main purpose of a fire alarm system is to detect a fire or potential fire and to report a warning to building occupants to evacuate the premises. Automatic devices, such as fire, smoke, carbon monoxide and heat detectors, detect the fire or heat and then activate audio-visual devices - such as sirens and strobes, to notify the occupants of a building about an emergency situation.

All our intruder alarm installations are carried out to recognised industry standards with an SSAIB certificate issued on completion, and each system is custom designed to meet your requirements. Installed to the new EN standards and come with an on-going maintenance agreement and call out facility in the event of a fault. Optional 24 hour monitoring via your telephone line of mobile networks, for a response to an alarm activation. We can take over for maintenance of an existing intruder alarm system as long as it is of reasonable quality, or give advice on upgrading to the current standards.
