Offering a 24 hour a day callout service to all of our customers is a fundamental part of our businesses core activities, giving our clients peace of mind that engineering support is always on hand either in emergency or for routine maintenance. We are able to provide a solution to almost all fire, security and electrical requirements, working together with the customer and manufacturers to find a bespoke solution in some circumstances. To maintain compliance with the current British Standards we are accredited by the NSI and BAFE SP203 for all aspects of fire alarm systems, the NSI for Intruder, access control and CCTV.

This role is suited to a highly motivated individual who must have experience within the Fire and Security sector. The ability to problem solve and carry out installations to the relevant British and European standards will be essential, along with a full driving licence and good customer relation skills. The core of our electronic fire and security work revolves around IP CCTV, Addressable and conventional fire alarm systems, networked access control and intruder alarm systems. Desirable qualifications would include, NVQ in Emergency alarm systems, FIA modular courses, CSCS Card Holder, IPAF Licence, Any other industry specific qualifications or training.

Using the latest technology available to the market we are able to offer a solution for all situations. We are able to use a number of different systems to suit your particular needs, traditional hard wired systems or where practicable reliable wire-free systems are now a popular choice in domestic properties. Access control is an essential part of any business and can come in many forms, from a lock and key to the most advanced electronic systems. We specialise in electronic access control including external gates and car park barriers through to internal and external doors. Stand alone systems - This type of system can be a cost effective tool to restrict access to an individual door. This can be achieved by means of an electronic keypad, fob reader or biometric scanner. PC based system - We supply PC Based access control systems that can be networked throughout all the doors on your site and administered by the a PC located on site.

All installations are designed to take in to account the specific environment to which they will operate, we can offer anti-vandal mini domes for low level installations, fixed position external cameras or pan, tilt and zoom movable cameras for a range of applications. Light levels are essential to the picture quality of the cameras, where natural or artificial lighting are not sufficient we can provide cameras with infra red lights to supplement the existing lighting. ANPR - Automatic Number Plate Recognition systems that we supply can be required to perform a number of tasks from logging only of number plates, to allowing access through barriers to recognised vehicles.

We supply and maintain fire extinguishers across the region and are accredited to BAFE SP101, this ensures that our customers are receiving a quality product and service. The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 ("RRFSO")* comes into force in October 2006 and applies to most businesses. This legislation will make it the legal duty of the Responsible Person in an organisation to ensure the competence of those who supply and maintain the fire detection and fire fighting equipment. This legal duty can be reliably fulfilled by ensuring your suppliers in these areas have the appropriate UKAS accredited third party accreditation.

Working to the British standard BS5839 for fire alarm detection systems and accredited to BAFE SP203 we can undertake works on conventional systems and analogue addressable systems. Despite their high sensitivity ASDs can be used in dusty or dirty environments as long as correct design, installation and maintenance processes are followed. Most ASD products can accommodate a broad range of environments and applications - from both confined and open spaces to the cleanest or dirtiest environment, including telecomm, control rooms, waste treatment, mining and more.
