Fixfire is BAFE accredited for the Design, Installation, Maintenance and Servicing of Fire Alarm Systems. On our first visit, if necessary, we will train staff to fulfil their own obligations, eg. Planned engineer fire alarm maintenance/service is carried out in accordance with BS5839 Part 1 which specifies a minimum frequency of every 6-months. Additional fire alarm visits may be deemed necessary subject to your Fire Risk Assessment, typically this may apply to higher risk premises such as Hotels, Hospitals and Care Premises.

Because such escape mechanisms can compromise security, Fixfire offers a range of deadlocking solutions in order to ensure that perimeter fire exit doors remain secure whilst complying internally with "means of escape" requirements.
