Anyone who wants to continue with this peace of mind can renew the all inclusive parts and labour warranty annually for a modest cost. We write to all our clients about a month before the warranty expires with the offer to extend it for a further year. If a client wishes to extend the warranty then we arrange a date to visit the premises and give the burglar alarm system a full check, replace any parts if required and then issue a written service / warranty sheet that can be used in many instances to gain a reduction on your household insurance policy.
The traditional image of security lighting is the floodlight that uses a passive infra red to turn on the light if movement is detected. This is a system that does work very well but can have many problems with false activations caused by animals or wind. Also the actual cost of electricity used to illuminate the light is very high compared to other types of security lighting that are available. Our personal preference is a low energy type light that comes on at dusk as the light fades and stays on throughout the night until it begins to become light again in the morning.
