We have worked on a variety of projects from numerous church roofs, domestic dwellings to school roofs and more modern buildings. We are North Devon's leading Lead roofing company. Lead has been in use as a roofing material for centuries standing the test of time with its performance and durability. If a lead roof is done correctly they can last up to 200 years. Lead work is a specialist trade in itself and takes years of training to become competent in.
For our flat roofing we use Polyroof. We have systems to suit all substrates from the 185 system designed for a traditional plywood substrate to Protec that can be laid directly over concrete, insulation and existing roof structure to name a few. All flat roofs will carry insurance backed guarantees ranging from 10 - 20 years depending upon the system/substrate used. The flat roofing systems have a minimum of 30 year durability rating. Protec is a cost-effective, fast curing polyester roofing system that is ideal for a wide range of refurbishment and new build applications.
Our roof slating work includes work to historic churches, domestic dwellings to whole new build housing estates. Coupled with our lead working skills you can be assured that the new roof we deliver will be completely water proof with no potential issues due to gaps in knowledge and no need to employ another contractor to complete the lead work. We offer general building services ranging from chimney re-builds to extensions and rendering. We have completed main contractor building projects including demolition, ground works, building of structures and roofing to allow the client to employ one contractor for all the works enabling them to have one contact making there life simpler and easier. We re-build chimney's, current regulation states that all new chimney's require two lead damp course trays fitted as well as the lead weathering to the junction with the roof.
We offer carpentry services to allow you to employ one contractor for the whole project. We fit fascia's, soffits, retrospective dormers, truss and cut roofs. We have measured and fitted truss roofs to new structure and existing building as will as cutting in dormers and roof lights to various pitched and flat roof again ensuring all work is carried our to current regulations. We fit Upvc and wood fascia and soffit boards including decoration as well as cladding to to structures using products from cedar & softwood to Marley Cedral weather board or if budget is the main concern Upvc.
