We specialise in the design manufacture of timber rooftrusses, I-Beam or metal web joists and timber framed buildings. Our timber Roof products can be supplied on a 'delivery only', or 'supply and fit' basis. We service sites in Cumbria, Lancashire, Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Yorkshire and Humberside. All of our engineered timber roof products are pre-fabricated from high quality, stress graded timbers produced from sustainable forests and joined with galvanised steel nail-plate fasteners.

A roof truss is a structural framework of timbers designed to bridge the space above a room and to provide support for the roof coverings. The trusses are placed at regular intervals, linked by longitudinal and diagonal bracing timbers. The space between each roof truss is known as a bay. Roof trusses have replaced rafters in most home designs because they are better value, both in terms of materials and time on-site. Roof trusses use smaller timber sections that are engineered to provide a similar strength without unnecessary expensive wood.

Our engineered floor joists are the easiest and quickest solution to floor installations. Using either our I Joist or Metal Web products, all joists are precision cut to size and delivered with clear plans, fixing instructions and required metalwork. Unsurprisingly, pre-engineered floor joists have become more and more commonplace on all types of construction sites. Significant savings are achieved both in terms of joinery and project overheads, whilst providing a weathertight shell earlier. I-Joists are comprised of a central OSB web between solid top and bottom flanges.
