Spectrum is employed by a number of established building contractors, and is a national framework contractor for a major supermarket chain which testifies to the quality of our installations on-site, and the 'can do' attitude of our management team. We are CHAS, SSIP, SMAS and CSCS Platinum accredited, members of the NFRC and CWCT and are currently working towards ISO 18001 Occupational Health & Safety Management. We are constantly trying to improve and develop our company and add to the increasing list of repeat clients that employ us due to the high standard of our contract management, commitment to Health & Safety, and ultimately our final product on site.
The metal cladding systems we install are generally the same type of systems as those that are found on the roof areas and can include aluminium standing seam, coated steel built-up cladding systems, coated steel composite cladding panels. As with the roof systems there are certain products available that remove the need for cold rolled steel, with the panels spanning between main steelwork and thus reducing steelwork costs.
As well as working for main contractors on multimillion pound projects we can also carry-out refurbishment works directly for the client/building owner. These works generally consist of updating existing industrial units that are clad in either asbestos or fibre cement sheets. Whichever option is chosen the refurbishment works will not only provide a watertight and more aesthetically pleasing building but the additional insulation will increase its thermal performance making the building more energy efficient.
We install a variety of roofing products ranging from aluminium standing seam systems, coated steel built-up roof systems, coated steel composite panels, single ply membranes, hot melt waterproofing and green roofs. The products we install can be supplied with manufacturer guarantees of up to 25 years with some products having life expectancies of 40 plus years.
