Megaflo Unvented Systems are a local company, specialising in the design, installation and maintenance of high performance domestic hot and cold water systems, and more specifically, Unvented or pressurised cylinders. From a small bedsit to a multi-bathroom mansion, a well designed Megaflo unvented system will deliver high pressure fast running hot and cold water to all taps and showers throughout the property. Unvented systems are now the preferred choice for many developers, architects, heating engineers, and end users, with many benefits over traditional vented systems.

Megaflo Unvented specialise in the installation of Megaflo or Unvented hot water Systems. As a local company, and part of Apex Plumbing and Heating, we build on the traditional business values of quality, professionalism and value for money. We deliver the highest levels of service and are proud to consistently exceed our customer's expectations. Our mission is simply to deliver a professional service to every customer, everytime. That begins the moment you call, with a courteous greeting, prompt attention and a reliable service from start to finish.

Megaflo Unvented are part of Apex Plumbing and Heating and as the name suggests, we cover all areas of plumbing and heating. All engineers are trained and qualified to do a professional job, that's exactly what you get!

Megaflo Unvented supply and install the excellent Dualflo Block Salt Water Softener, designed and engineered by UK's No.1 manufacturer. This will give you incredibly soft water - something no single cylinder electric softener can achieve. Megaflo, and indeed all unvented and mains pressure hot water systems are designed as high performance systems. It is important to minimise any unnecessary reduction in pressure and flow rate, and certainly we as a company, consider when installing any new system.

The design and installation of any Megaflo or Unvented hot water system is of paramount importance. Correctly sized pipes ensure optimum performance and efficiency in delivering high pressure hot and cold water to all outlets - get this wrong, and the whole system falls apart! All unvented installations are subject to the legal requirements of Building regulation G3 and should only be installed by an "approved installer". This requirement ensures the safe installation of a Megaflo or Unvented Cylinder, but does not regulate the quality, design or installation of the associated pipe work, fittings and components.

Megaflo Unvented offer a consultancy and advisory service to both installers and customers where we are not directly involved with the installation. This may be for various reasons, such as builders using their own plumbers, projects outside of our service area, or simply to acquire a second opinion for confirmation or peace-of-mind. Where practicable, we will make on-site visits, as and when required, and all work (including travel time) will be chargeable at our standard hourly rates. This is a free email only service, whereby we offer our professional advise to assist with any problems, issues or concerns associated with hot water systems.

As independant Gas Safe installers, we are not incentivised by any particular boiler manufacturer, but our focus and drive is purely on efficiency, value and quality. Typically there are three types of boilers - Combi, Regular, or System. These are all condensing boilers, and their efficiency is measured on the 'SEDBUK' scale. SEDBUK stands for 'Seasonal Efficiency of a Domestic Boiler in the UK', with 'A' being the highest rating ( 90% efficiency or over). Please feel free to contact Megaflo Unvented to discuss you requirements or to arrange an on-site survey.
