These include housing associations, ALMO's, and local councils, schools and health centres. Our objective is to maximise the value of the property asset through cost efficient maintenance. Our company provides comprehensive term building maintenance, void repair services, fire protection and disabled adaptations. Our project capability includes work for the Decent Homes Programme and the refurbishment of dilapidated or fire damaged buildings up to a value of 2m.
We provide a service that is exactly tailored to your needs. Sometimes this will include a "one stop shop" solution in which we design, project manage and provide the construction services. Alternatively, we are equally at home bringing to life the designs of your architect and solving the day to day issues that arise during the building and alteration works. One of our major contracts was to adapt a bungalow for a seriously disabled client. This involved working closely with the architect to ensure the internal structure and openings within the bungalow were suitable for a motorised wheelchair with fitted respirator.
The Company has a 24/7/365 call service for emergency repairs. Our call centre staff have the technical knowledge and experience to firstly understand your problem, and secondly, allocate the right resource to deal with the problem. The Emergency Call Service is also the first point of contact for our Emergency Response team. This is mobilised to deal with major emergencies such as fire, flood, power failure and backed up drains.
The Company worked in partnership with Springboard Housing Association to ensure their compliance with the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. This included joint inspection audits with the client's surveyors. This included work to 10 sheltered housing schemes in the Braintree, Witham and Halsted areas. To provide our clients with a "one stop shop" for both Fire Risk Assessments and any subsequent improvement works, Steven Holdings has a national partnership agreement with Force Fire Consultancy Ltd to provide survey services.
